Thank you Torchmen supporters
The Torchmen would like to thank all those who came out to celebrate our 40th anniversary with us. It was a great success with a packed house. Thank you to our Lord for all the years that He has allowed us to share this ministry in music for 40 years and to our families that have supported us along the way.

Alberta Beach Sing
The Torchmen just returned from the first of our three trips out west for this year in Alberta Beach. We sang at a beautiful German Pentecostal camp over looking a nice lake. We made some new friends and renewed some old ones as well. We sang with The Hunter Family(from Saskatchewen), Muddy River Quartet(from Manitoba) and The Hills (from Alberta). All Canadian talent, What a Great Weekend of Gospel music!!They also fed us very well (love that Alberta Beef).Special thanks to Rita, Helmut, and Loyd for being so kind to the Torchmen while in Alberta.Check out our picture gallery for some great pictures of the weekend.

Torchmen in Newfoundland
I have to admit, it was a whirlwind tour, but May 4,5, and 6 the quartet was in Newfoundland for the first time in their 39 year history. I have to admit that the people down there were extremely hospitable to us. Friday and Saturday we spent with Sandy's son Tim at his church in Harbour Bretton. Sunday morning we were with Pastor Bess in Port De Grave, and Sunday night we were with Pastor Milley at Part Avenue Pentecostal in St John's. I think the next time we go back we'll schedule in some extra time, as we drove for more than 1200km in the weekend. But God was faithful, and there were no major mishaps, other than Mike, Jon and Sandy spending a bit of time trying to remember where we'd parked the car in Toronto.

Trinity United - Thorold
Have you ever tried to sing through a concert having no voice? Jon woke Sunday am to having no voice at all, but when concert time came around, the Lord gave just enough voice to get through...

Gospel Night Live - Brantford
A great evening put on by the Johnson Quartet, and joined by the Hilton Family and Sonshine Quartet from Florida. It was good to get to know some of DW's family...I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. The street behind the Sanderson Center reminded me a bit of NQC with all the busses lined up
