1969 - Four men including Walt Andres, met at Fairview Mennonite Brethren Church
in St Catharines and decided to embark on this journey
1969 - A young Lead singer named Mike Moran joined the group
- Recorded their first album
- Sang for the first time on the stage of the National Quartet convention
1983 - A young Bass singer named Jon Hisey replaces John Hisey
1994 - Their album "Just Stopped By" was nominated for a Grammy
2005 - Dave Randall makes his first appearance as a Torchmen at the homecoming concert
2006 - Sandy MacGregor returns for his third rotation in the Torchmen lineup
2006 - Album "HERE THERE OR IN THE AIR" wins Southern Gospel Album of the year at
GMA Canada
